Two separate warranties cover every roof we install. Both registered in your name. Both transferable once.
Workmanship warranty
10 years on replacements · 2 years on repairs
Covers installation errors and workmanship issues — leaks at flashings, nail pops, improper underlayment laps, anything that's our fault. We come back at no charge and fix the cause.
Transferable once to the next homeowner if you sell within the coverage period. Free re-registration.
Manufacturer warranty
Up to 50 years (enhanced) on shingles
GAF Golden Pledge, CertainTeed SureStart Plus, or IKO ShieldPRO Plus depending on the system. Covers manufacturing defects, with full replacement during the non-prorated period.
Enhanced warranties require certified contractors. We're GAF Master Elite and CertainTeed SELECT — both required to register the top-tier coverage.
Things that void most roof warranties
- Walking on the roof unnecessarily (especially in hot weather).
- Mounting satellite dishes or solar panels without proper flashings.
- Pressure-washing the shingles.
- Adding an addition that ties into the existing roof without correct step flashing.
- Failing to maintain attic ventilation if it was originally part of the spec.
